Business Analyst
Current· Business Analyst on a team responsible for application managed services for the City of Chicago’s CIS Utility Billing System (billing agent for all water, sewer, garbage, and tax services for the City of Chicago and 125 suburbs and processes over $1B in payments annually) and several system interfaces.· Serve as a liaison between the Chicago Department’s of Water Management, Finance, Streets and Sanitation, Budget Management, and Innovation Technology, application development teams, and third-party vendors to support citywide initiatives.· Define and gather project requirements through regular client and team meetings and review of project artifacts.· Develop functional and technical specifications and perform quality assurance testing associated with the City’s Oracle Based CIS Utility Billing System.· Develop system and end user documentation.· Create and maintain daily and monthly interactive dashboards.· Perform ad-hoc analyses and reports based on client requests and needs.· Provided pre and post production analysis on the Automated Reading System (AMR) Restructuring Initiative, to improve the efficiency of the AMR rate taker processes and routes, to acquire more accurate and timely readings.· Assisted the City of Chicago and third-party vendors in implementing improved payment plan services through the City’s IVR and Online payment portals for over 300,000 customers.· Performed analysis on over 3 years of payment arrangements to identify potential ways to boost revenue by increasing the minimum down payment.
