Since 2009 Jeff's been working aboard the National Geographic expedition ships as a Video Chronicler, Undersea Specialist, and now as a Lindblad Expeditions–National Geographic Certified Photo Instructor. In 2008, he graduated magna cum laude from Brooks Institute of Photography where he specialized in undersea cinematography and nature photography. Jeff is honored to be a part of the expedition photography team where he works to help you take the best photos of your life. He received his Photo Instructor certification in a multi-day training workshop at the National Geographic Headquarters. Developed and taught by National Geographic and Lindblad Expeditions photographers, the workshop helped him develop additional insight and skills necessary to help you better understand your camera and the basics of composition—to better capture the moments at the heart of your expedition.

In the words of Jacques Cousteau, “People protect what they love.” Jeff uses photography and film to inspire people to care about Planet Earth.His footage has been featured on the National Geographic Channel, and he works with environmental organizations on special media projects to inspire environmental justice internationally. During a recent trip to Columbia, he presented a coproduction with Sea Shepherd Conservation Society to a group of 130 environmental lawyers from 16 different nations to help inspire a new day in environmental justice for sharks.

Since 2009, I've worked on the National Geographic Expeditions ships as field expedition staff in countries around the world, including Galápagos, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Cuba, Bahamas, Chile, Argentina, Pitcairn, French Polynesia, Egypt, Jordan, Norway, Greenland, Iceland, Canada, and extensively in Alaska.
