Working on initiatives within the U.S. Dept. of Energy, Building Technologies Office on Commercial Buildings Integration. CBI partners with a diverse set of stakeholders to produce simple, straightforward, intuitive and actionable resources, strategies and tools to be shared through ongoing industry engagement and innovative programming. Research partnerships and pilots help CBI gain industry perspective, connect, develop and disseminate technical expertise, access laboratory and testing infrastructure; and recognize, validate and collaborate with market leaders.

Provide project management and technical assessment of Energy Performance Contract (EPC) projects throughout the State of Colorado. In this role I hold paramount the best interest of facility owners in reviewing proposed resource efficiency measures and energy generation projects. Working alongside Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) I strive to promote cost effective improvement projects that provide both monetary savings and resource conservation.

Conducted site audits for commercial energy efficiency retrofits. This included a number of grocery store retro-commissioning (RCx) projects focusing on low-cost measure where high energy savings opportunities were identified.Identified and analyzed Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) for new construction and retrofits.Feasibility studies for cost effective ECMs.Reviewed and assessed proposed energy efficiency retrofits projects completed by other firms.Completed audits and reports under the City of San Francisco Existing Building Benchmark Ordinance.Worked under Rocky Mountain Power's wattSmart program to assess and promote energy efficiency projects.

Worked on programs geard at energy efficiency for residential housing markets with an emphasis on affordability and public housing. Targeting programs the demonstrate the feasibility of incorporating efficiency measure into new construction and benefits of retrofits to reduce energy usage.

o Collaborate with utility sector clients to design and analyze energy efficiency measures to reduce consumption and unnecessary expenditures. o Cost/benefit analysis of new technologies for retrofit and new construction projects. o Develop spreadsheets and reports to summarize proposed and existing programs and assessment of new technologies for clients. o Coordinate fieldwork with end users for analysis and review data collected from site visits to assess the effectiveness of utility company efficiency programs.
