• Convener, creator, and manager of the City’s first Sustainability and Resilience Action Plan, Thrive Indianapolis, which includes a GHG inventory, climate vulnerability assessment, FEMA multi-hazard mitigation plan, mitigation and adaptation goals and actions, and extensive public engagement process• Organized, planned, fundraised, designed, and run Indianapolis’ first Sustainability Summit, which included 2 workshop, 10 panel discussions, and over 300 participants.• Compiling and evaluating data for a Municipal GHG inventory for the City of Indianapolis• Lead climate action and resilience planning efforts• Co-designed, organized, and hosted INvision Resiliency, the Indianapolis Climathon event - joining 59 cities around the world to “hack” climate related challenges. Awarded prize to winning team, and raised over $10,000 in community support• Analyzing and developing improvement strategies for the city’s score on the STAR Communities sustainability rating metric • Reviewed and provided feedback on applications of up to $10,000 for the city’s SustainIndy Community Grants Program• Manage Residential Native Planting Area and Rain Garden Program• Analyze recycling and waste minimization opportunities• On executive committee for the regional Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Sustainability Directors Network
