Profile bio

About Jeff Marks

I have a strong background of instructing and coaching Soldiers on a multitude of disciplines, including extensive instruction with human interaction, obtaining excellent results. I have a talent for building and conducting training (both for operators and "train the trainer" classes) , as well as recruitment. Bringing people together to accomplish a shared goal is one of my key strengths as well as interpreting analytics to identify and implement strategic growth solutions. Two things I love the most about the Human Intelligence Community and the Army: First, it's a field completely designed with rapport building and human interaction, so it all comes down to working with people. Constantly seeking, collecting, and assessing feedback on the effectiveness of an interaction or method used during that interaction is paramount to the success of any mission. Second, it’s an ever-changing Army. What worked well in the community five years ago may not be effective today – there’s always room for innovation and thinking outside the box. A little more about me: I consider myself to be a very well-rounded person. I try to obtain a new hobby every couple of years and stay very open minded to new concepts. Everything from disaster preparedness to ground-breaking new technology. This allows me to strike up a conversation with anyone and find some common ground to build rapport and eventually allows for me to utilize that knowledge to build a network to improve an organization overall.
