Lead architect and developer for company's flagship product

Adapted Arbor's core packet processing application to Broadcom XLP network processor platform. Designed XLP micro-core hashing and load distribution scheme, and implemented boot-time network accelerator configuration.Designed and implemented software component to manage switch-based dynamic blacklisting function within ATCA chassis product. Later extended same design to embedded Alcatel router, including design of coordination protocol.Re-architected vendor's linux kernel device driver for x86-based cryptographic co-processor to support concurrent operations by multiple processes.Re-architected x86 core packet processing in conjunction with 10GB zero-copy network driver to maintain RSS core affinity and improve performance. Also adapted packet processing implementation to Intel's DPDK.Implemented numerous components for internal management framework for ATCA chassis-based product. Re-architected complete management framework to support new ATCA chassis model.Led multi-month effort to isolate hard-to-reproduce network adapter PCIE hardware flaw affecting numerous large customers, coordinating with engineering management, customer support and external partners.
