Member of a 10-person project team implementing Devon's well planning process into a Business Process Management (BPM) system. My role on the project was to define the integration of the BPM process with Devon's existing databases and computer systems and then ensure that the integration worked as designed. Specifically, these integrations included:• Extract information on prospect wells from the master database.• Pull accounting, economic and land/lease information from several corporate data systems.• Write BPM results (the technical and business details of the well as it is being planned) to WellView (and to other Devon-specific databases).• Update WellView throughout the planning process to integrate with RigView and thereby communicate updates to/from the Rig Schedulers.During the project I worked closely with Devon's business analysts, BPM implementers, systems/database experts, and corporate system architects.

Included process re-engineering, training, and change management to fit the business.Global Upstream Technical Database - Merged WellView into the engineering portion of a new enterprise Oracle technical database. Planned and managed testing and cut-over of Production/Drilling operations at all sites; led operational cut-overs in Scotland, Germany, Malaysia, Sakhalin. Trained local computing staffs in design concepts, administration and support of the new system.WellView Assessment Study - Led team to analyze Drilling & Production engineering computing processes at a joint venture company in Qatar. Proposed implementation plan for WellView.
