Responsible for administration of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services with responsibility for approximately 200 FTEs and a $26M operating budget. Responsibilities included Radiology, Biomedical Engineering, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Oncology, Cardiology, Neurosciences/Epilepsy Lab, Endoscopy, and Therapy Services.Initiated a Neurointerventional Program with operation from the Cath lab.Developed a new department renovation and design plan for the main hospital.Initiated a Cardiac Nuclear Medicine Program at the South Campus hospital.Implementation of Philips PACs and EPIC Radiant RIS systems Planned and coordinated the development of a new $2M Endoscopy Lab. Planned and coordinated a $7.5M MRI expansion project.Planned and implemented a new system wide PACs system for digital image management and distribution. Implemented new RIS /Voice Recognition system to reduce report turnaround from 62 hours to 6 hours.Planned and developed design of new Outpatient Imaging Center.Established new quality program to include ACR accreditation for MRI, CT, and Nuclear Medicine.Designed and implemented Sleep Lab ProgramDesigned and initiated Auditory Testing Program in conjunction with new ENT Services.Initiated and facilitated integration of ancillary services between UMC and UPH hospitals to include Radiology, Therapy, Endoscopy, Neurosciences and Clinical Engineering.Planned and implemented EPIC Radiant radiology module.Implemented RFID tagging program for asset management of hospital clinical devices.Expanded and enhanced Intraoperative Monitoring Program.Provided leadership to an expanding Radiation Oncology Program.
