Built Pillar Tough!This is our slogan at Pillar Machine, Utah-based business I started almost a decade ago in Salt Lake City Utah. At the time, Pillar Machine was nothing but an idea I had been mulling over for the better part of a few years. I knew I had the foundational knowledge from my career experience thus far to run a successful CNC Manufacturing company, and if given the opportunity... I could build something even better on my own. That opportunity presented itself, and I jumped. I acquired the the leftover assets, receivables, inventory and IP from a local bank that serviced Accu-Systems (a previous giant in the space) and begun what would become the project of my life. We started strong, and haven't looked back since. Over the last decade we've rewritten the playbook on what it means to be a USA-based CNC Manufacturing Company in the modern economy. My team has revolutionized the CNC machinery business, winning many awards and national recognition along the way. Ultimately, however, we pride ourselves on stellar customer service that turns first time clients into lifelong customers. Our most recent leap forward was the expansion of Pillar Machine into the Profile Shaping & Sanding machine manufacturing vertical. Over this time, I've remained an integral part of each department. I oversee engineering, fabrication, machinery, production, sales & operations and I am surrounded by a team of high performing individuals. I used to ride my bike to 'dad's warehouse' each day after school. Watching him and the other employees, I learned the importance of hard work and dedication. That has carried through the past twenty years of my career as I continue getting my hands dirty, seeking solutions, building a fantastic team and exemplifying that work ethic I learned all those years ago.
