CurrentBuilt Pillar Tough! is our slogan at Pillar Machine, Inc. a Utah based business I started in November, 2013. I was able to acquire the Assets, Receivables, Inventory and intellectual knowledge form the bank that serviced Accu-Systems (a 30+ year veteran, manufacturing machinery for the woodworking industry) and take the foundation that I gained in that company to build a fast growing, successful business. In our first year of being in business, we successfully sold 45 machines and 48 machines in year two, increasing revenue by 16%. To date we have increased our staff from 15 to 34 employees, brought two new machines to market (the HMJ,FJ and HPLD), revolutionized the strategic marketing tactic of CNC machinery through our Demo Drives, placed as finalist in the IWF Challengers Award on two different machine entries, developed and launched our Outside Machinery Business arm; you can agree that we are a Progressive Company! Pillar Machine offers 11 different Stock Machines and continues to provide the knowledge and wherewithal to our customers on custom built machines they require. I am an integral part of each department from the Engineering, Fabrication, Machinery, Production, Sales, Marketing and Operations. Although I have built successful teams of professionals to get the job done, I spend most of my time as CEO in Marketing, Sales, Engineering and Operations of the business. Riding my bike to “dad’s warehouse” each day afterschool at the early age of 12 and getting my hands dirty whenever I could, started this carrier 20+ years ago. I know my machines inside and out and I pride myself with having solutions because I have experience.
