My time as an educator has lead me to be proficient in creating course curriculum for secondary level students. I have worked on creating in-person and e-learning course objectives, projects, and lessons. My project writing includes real-world scenarios that students have to tailor solutions for, my lessons include interactive and engaging presentations, and my objectives clearly state to students what knowledge they are supposed to leave the classroom with. I have taught many different classes all under the Technology Education umbrella. This includes, Digital Media, Web Design, Commercial Photography, Principles of IT, and Audio/Video Production. During my time here I have had the pleasure of using all of the Adobe Creative Suite programs almost daily. I am so passionate about digital art and digital production and love creating new projects and coming up with new lessons to teach my students the amazing things you can do in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc. I try and show how much I enjoy and love it and pass on that joy through my teaching to my students. Technological skills are so important in our world and the younger generation having these advanced computer skills, whether it be in art, web design, HTML & CSS languages, user experience, computer programming, software development, etc can really put them ahead in the career world after high school. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time teaching them these skills and take great pride in getting to do that the passed five years. I am certified in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign and have extremely proficient skills in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Adobe Lightroom, After Effects and most of all of the Adobe Creative Suite.
