Responsible for bringing company systems back up from the previous company shutdown as well as implementing new systems for the new company. In charge of all IT decisions and managed software for the telephone systems and maintenance of them (Samsung and Nortel systems). Maintained responsibilities from the prior company as well.

Developed client/server programs using VB with ModLink to communicate with Modicon system to track Melt shop production. ODBC/VB development retrieving EPA data for storage on the AS/400. RPG(LE), and CL programming using DDS, Sub files, Free Form, External print files using Overlays and Modules. Setup VMI programs using FTP transmit/receive processes from AS400 and NT systems to Vendor’s systems. Installed hardware such as ModBus Plus adapters, PC components, ran and terminated Cat 5 and Twinax cabling. Setup user profiles for Lotus Notes, Windows Network, AS/400, and VAX/DEC. Maintained backups, Website maintenance, assigned VPN access and configured Watchguard Firewall policies.Managed accounting reports (AR, Payroll, and AP) and managed backups of all systems. On call 4 week rotation to handle printer, password, network, hardware, and software problems.
