NTI is a leading educational institution focused on the serious scientific study of nutrition and how it affects systems of the body. They offer several certifications, including a Natural Foods Chef and Master Nutrition Therapist. The school takes a holistic approach to health and wellness with an emphasis on effective solutions for people. NTI is a common ground for like-minded students that have a passion for knowledge and a desire to help others. From 2016-2019, I acted as the Director of Outreach. I'm now a consultant and my role is curriculum building and instructor.Jeni is responsible for creating and teaching the Business Readiness and Coaching Skills courses for students to explore their WHO, WHAT, HOW and WHY. Included in the curriculum is career coaching, coaching the coaches, business start up, and discernment around employee vs entrepreneur path so that students of the program are more prepared to move towards their dreams post graduation.

TrueSpark is a non-profit, national charitable organization. As a member of the Senior Management Team, Jeni helped to create a common vision and strategy for TrueSpark. Jeni wore many hats due to the start up environment. She led TrueSpark's efforts to broaden reach, created curriculum, facilitated workshops, and developed positive collaborative relationships. She worked with national partners, local communities, schools, and youth organizations across the U.S. She was responsible for all aspects of the outreach team in a new start up environment.Some key results:1. Increased growth: partner organizations up by over 600%, states implementing program grew from 9-31, completion numbers grew from 1832 to 90752. Created training materials on SEL, Character Education and Organizational Change3. Facilitated training with hundreds of educators and youth professionals4. Upgraded the original curriculum, creating an Activity Guide which boasts 88 activities all based on emotional intelligence and positive character traits (grit, empathy, creativity, gratitude, etc.) utilizing the arts and movement.5. City Of Englewood

Jeni was responsible for the overall strategic plan of the youth services division for the city. She developed and managed a variety of creative programs through each stage beginning with analysis and conception to evaluation. Programs aimed to meet the needs of the community, encouraging a safe, fun, healthy and active lifestyle: special events, camps, retreats, a teen center, volunteer projects, after school programs, preschools, summer camps, the arts, outdoor education, and more. In addition, she led the COE Youth Council, guiding them through various campaigns and volunteer projects. She expanded a local talent show into an award winning state wide competition by recruiting 12 other cities to participate and increased participation numbers by 1000% in just 4 years. She recruited, trained and managed up to 50 employees at one time and hundreds over her tenure. Jeni was responsible for building and nurturing strategic partnerships and relationships with other youth organizations and cities. She helped to form a network of youth development professionals that still meets on a quarterly basis.

Isla De Ometepe, Nicaragua

Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos (NPH) is a charitable organization serving abandoned children in Mexico and Central/South America. Jeni was responsible for a team of volunteers from around the world (including marketing, recruitment, training, ongoing evaluations, team building, etc.). She also acted as the liaison between the administration and the volunteers. She took part in programming a wide variety of events and activities for the children and young adults that lived there. Above all, Jeni established wonderful relationships with many of the kids there and still maintains several of these relationships.

Arvada, Co

The Deep End Youth Center was an effort to expand program offerings to youth in the community. Specifically, the program focused on under served youth. Jeni was responsible for directing and managing the overall operations of the youth center. Responsibilities included community engagement strategies, neighborhood focus groups, staff management, workshops, etc. During her leadership, the crime rate in the area was reduced by 23% the first year and 37% in the second.
