Operational leadership of centralized human resources functions for the State of Colorado, with specific oversight for the Colorado State Employee Assistance Program, HR Consulting Services, statewide training, and division operations. Division is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the state personnel system while designing the benefits plans, managing statewide risk, and providing critical HR guidance in the implementation of statute, rules, policies, and collective bargaining agreements. Served as main point of contact for statewide initiatives regarding equity, diversity, and inclusion.-- Led the effort to provide guidance to HR teams and employees during the COVID-19 pandemic, through FAQs, policies, technical guidance, and direct consultation.--Contributing author to Executive Order D2020-175, regarding equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in state government. Lead author on EDI Universal policy for state workforce. Co-chair of the Colorado Equity Alliance subcommittee on hiring and retention. Developed four module online EDI training for all state employees and a four module training for all state supervisors, both of which were implemented statewide. Awarded the Eugene H. Rooney, Jr. Leadership award by the National Association of State Personnel Executives (NASPE) for development of Colorado’s statewide EDI program.--Key partner in development of a governance structure and procurement approach for new statewide HRIS.
