I am honored and humbled at the opportunity to apply my unique experience and background in the energy efficiency industry to Encolor's mission to advance diversity, equity and inclusion for all stakeholders in the energy and efficiency supply chain. This includes the diverse characteristics that are seen, unseen, and not yet discovered. In this position, I dedicated my skills to finding new and better avenues to capturing the diverse and complex nature of the energy inequity and challenges faced by our clients.

As a Senior Researcher and Project Manager, I oversee and collaborate with an exceptional multi-disciplinary team of analysts to implement various energy efficiency evaluations as well as provide support to the design of new research efforts for our clients. I currently work with clients across the country including CT, MI and CA. These research efforts, as well as my past experience, include the spectrum of commercial and residential programs, as well as low-income and pilot program evaluations. I am responsible for providing oversight to each phase of the research, from planning to deliverables, and take pride in working closely with clients and key stakeholders to produce actionable, transparent, and useful results.

My responsibilities include aiding in the business development strategies, general consulting on start-up activities and continuing customer engagement, as well as establishment and oversight of the accounting system and process for monthly and annual reporting.

I served as Research Analyst at NMR for two years. While at NMR, I contributed to developing sampling strategies for residential and commercial programs, designing surveys and in-depth interviews, as well as conducting both qualitative and quantitative analyses. Most recently, I was lead coordinator and analyst for the residential appliance saturation studies in Connecticut and Rhode Island, developed samples for residential and small business programs, conducted cost-effectiveness audits of Pennsylvania utilities' benefit-cost ratios, and completed Net-to-Gross analyses of small business programs in Ontario, Canada.

I was responsible for coordination and oversight of process and impact evaluations of residential and commercial energy efficiency programs. My role included designing sampling plans, survey development, cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit modeling, non-energy benefit (NEBs) analysis, billing analysis, conducting stakeholder interviews, and final report production. I also worked on developing strategies for diss-aggregating and analyzing advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) data.While at West Hill, I assisted in establishing individualized project-specific evaluation work plans, and was responsible for insuring each plan was in-line with specific regulatory requirements of the individual State Public Utility Commissions. My dedication to effective communication and attention to program details allowed me to develop actionable recommendations that enhanced the process and energy savings (impacts) of the energy efficiency programs.

Smith & Lehmann Consulting is a woman-owned small business consulting firm specializing in program evaluation in the areas of social services, public health, energy, and the environment. While at Smith & Lehmann Consulting, I worked on a retrospective process and impact evaluation of the efficacy of weatherization measures in reducing energy usage, energy bills, and improving payment for low-income households in Utah, Idaho, Washington, and Wyoming. This work included an assessment of the cost-effectiveness of each state’s program. Evaluations were conducted at the state level, incorporating state tariffs and statutory requirements. My role included logic model development, cost-effectiveness modeling, payment analysis, billing analysis, stakeholder interviews, and production of final reports. I was also responsible for conducting weekly meetings with key program participants and client representatives.

I designed and completed an in-depth economic and statistical analysis of the potential profitability and sustainability of various farming methods: conventional, reduced-tillage, and organic on a representative farm in Lingle, Wyoming. I was responsible for constructing empirical budget models for each of the three cropping-systems, and using these models to perform an @Risk Monte Carlo simulation of potential profit situations. All analyses was conducted on a per-acre basis to allow local farmers, who were possibly considering converting their operation to either a reduced-tillage or organic, to apply the results directly to their operations.This project was part of a larger grant-based project funded by the United States Department of Agriculture, which assessed the region-specific environmental and climate based impacts of different farming methods over sort- and long-term rotational periods. I worked independently, yet collaboratively with stakeholders, staff at the University of Wyoming’s Agricultural Experiment Station, research team members, and committee members in an effort to publish my research, and I continue to present my conclusions and analysis to stakeholders and the public. •Developed hypotheses, research prospectus, and methods of analysis•Gathered, analyzed and interpreted on-farm data as well as data from outside sources•Developed spreadsheet-based enterprise budgets for use in a Monte Carlo Analysis•Worked with farm managers and local farmers to ensure a valuable project outcome•Presented conclusions and analysis to committee members and the public•Exposure to organic, reduced-input, and conventional farming methods•Gained experience with GAMS, GIS, atRISK, and Excel Solver
