As a Sales Floor Manager at Kirkland's, I apply my design and styling skills to create visually appealing store displays and provide assistance to clients for furniture and décor. I also guide customers towards their desired needs and preferences, and encourage them to apply for Kirkland's credit cards to enhance their shopping experience. I started as a Retail Sales Associate in May 2022 and was promoted to Sales Floor Manager in May 2023, thanks to my excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, and my ability to manage inventory and handle merchandise in the warehouse.I am currently pursuing a CIDA-accredited BS in Design & Merchandising, specializing in Interior Design at Oklahoma State University, graduating in May 2025. I am passionate about exploring cost-efficient ways to promote sustainability within design concepts to decrease industry waste. I am seeking an internship in the commercial or residential sector to gain valuable industry experience and to aid the company’s success as an intern.
