Behavioral and Intensive Special Needs Special Educator at Frederick H. Tuttle Middle School on the 6th Grade teams.

K-5 special educator, providing services 4 days a week for the month of July.

Provide 1:1 special ed tutoring in mathematics and literacy for a 2nd grade student (Jan-Mar) and a 7th grade student (Mar-June)

HR Intern tasked with organizing employee files, complete employee terminations, work with departments within the Central Office on projects, communicate with new hires to complete on boarding paperwork, organize spreadsheets containing sensitive information, perform criminal record checks, complete secondary disseminations, and more.

Spend over 260 hours in 7th-12th grade classrooms to complete a deep dive into social-emotional learning, trauma-informed teaching, therapeutic education, and an alternative special education environment in a public school system.

Lead relationship violence peer support, I hold time and space for students suffering from assault, an abusive relationship, or a toxic situation to speak to a peer and be guided to the appropriate resource on campus.

In the Office of Purposeful Learning, I provide the student perspective to help provide insight for advisors. I complete clerical work and create processes to organize and collect data on how we can reach more students and keep in touch with those who do visit our office.I organize events and advertise for office events as well as organize themes within the office space.I stood on the interview committee when hiring the newest Success Advisor.

I was a peer mentor for Intro to Purposeful Learning for Kristen Hindes and Lou Dimasi. As peer mentor I would assist the head teacher in preparing discussions, leading class sections, responding and interacting with student submissions, creating class activities, and being available for outside-of-class help.
