At Columbia Memorial Hospital I held serveral positions through my time there. In 2006 I started as a CNA/Ward Clerk on the Medical Surgical floor, helping patients and nurses while entering Doctors orders for continued care. Crossed trained in multiple departments; Critical Care, OB, and the Emergency rooms.In 2008 I took a position in the Orthopedic clinic as a Customer Service Representative. Scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and prior authorization through insurance companies for medications and procedures. This clinic grew into a Specialty Clinic, which help multiple providers; Orthopedics, Urology, General Surgery and eventually Oncology. in 2011 I accepted a position as a Customer care Representative and CNAII with the Infusion Center, Scheduling appointments, vital signs on incoming patients, and all insurance prior authorizations. During this time I assisted with the design and transition into the CMH Cancer Care Center, moving buildings and layout of center itself. In 2014 I accepted a position as a Buyer II with CMH, where I assisted in the weekly ordering of supplies needed for the entire hospital as well as order Special Purchase requests from Supervisors and Upper Management. I attended weekly meetings with the CEO, CFO, and CMH Recruiter to discuss growth of the hospital and bringing on new physicians to the hospital and Clatsop County.
