I was promoted to Lead Transportation Security Officer on 4/20/2010 Then promoted to Supervisory Transportation Security Officer on 12/16/2012As a Supervisory Transportation Security Officer for the TSA my duties include:-Conducting and supervising subordinate employees in conducting pre-board security screening of persons, their carry-on and checked baggage/cargo.-Overseeing screening checkpoint(s) on a day-to-day basis to include equipment, personnel; scheduling and rotation of personnel.-Directing work of subordinate employees to include: setting priorities, assigning tasks; monitoring and evaluating performance, coaching and developing employee capabilities; approving leave, recommending a variety of human resources actions such as promotions, reassignments, awards, etc; preparing performance evaluations, and taking or recommending corrective disciplinary actions up to and including dismissal, as appropriate.-Participating in the development of new policies and procedures, and recommending changes in policy and procedures based on observation of work, as required.-Participating in the development of strategic planning initiatives, workforce planning, succession planning initiatives, and other reports and documents for TSA and superiors.-Preparing various types of communications such as morning briefings, checkpoint logs, reports, and documents that are germane to the work performed.-Developing incident information and reports for Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs) and superiors.-Serving as a member of the National Screening Force.

- Worked in Childrens shoe department-Manage a cash register of up to $1500.00 a day.- Provide customer service to parents and their children.-Assisted parents in determining correct shoe size for their child.-Stock and organize shelves-Prepare and assist in yearly inventory audit.

- Supervise child parties of about 5-20 children at a time.-Organise activities for children and their guest.-Assist parents in hosting and preparing party room with decorations.-Make sure all party attendees follow safety guidelines for playing on equipment.
