I am a fully accredited conservation architect with a real love of working with older buildings of all shapes and sizes.I established Chambers Conservation Ltd in October 2015 to further my passion for working with historic buildings.  Although since childhood I had been fascinated by many aspects of the historic environment, I first got a taste for how rewarding working with older buildings can be during summer work for Purcell in Liverpool on the Grade I listed St Georges Hall.The following year I graduated from my final year studying Architecture at the University of Liverpool and started work with Donald Insall Associates in nearby Chester, following my chosen specialism in historic buildings work.  There, I qualified as an architect in 2002 and gained valuable experience in architectural design, specifying repair works and report writing over the following 13 years.Although interested in all building periods, my greatest passion is for Victorian and Edwardian architecture, in particular that of the Arts and Crafts Movement and associated with Industrial Heritage.  I am an active member of the Victorian Society (sitting on the Northern Building Committee) and a full member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC). I am on the RIBA Conservation Architects Register at the full SCA level.
