I joined Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), School of Psychology as a Lecturer in Psychology in 2014. I qualified with a First Class degree in Psychology from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2008, before going to the University of Stirling to do complete my MSc in Psychological Research Methods and PhD on the relationship between intimate partner abuse and suicide risk.My main research interests are in suicide and self-harm prevention, intimate partner abuse, stalking and domestic homicides. I am a member of the Forensic Psychology Research Group, and the Suicide and Self-Harm Research Group (SSHRG) at LJMU, a member of the Forensic Research Institute (FORRI) at LJMU as well as being a co-founder of the Suicide and Self Harm Research Network in the North West (SSHaRe NoW).
