I was responsible for teaching and evaluating all aspects of language acquisition for French, levels one through three. Moreover, I was tasked with collaborating with other educators and submitting a framework to the state of California to implement pre-AP/IB courses for French 1 and 2. My submission was approved which enabled our school to add these more rigorous courses to our curriculum, thereby affording students a better opportunity to prepare for their AP and IB examinations. Additionally, I served as a home hospital teacher for Temecula Valley Unified School District. As such, I was responsible for in-home instruction of students who were medically unable to attend a traditional school day. My duties included coordinating with other teachers, counselors, and parents to ensure these students' academic needs were fulfilled. I also served as faculty advisor for Photography Club, two service clubs, Krav Maga Club, and co-advisor for French Club.

As an instructor of English and French, I was responsible for the development, as well as implementation, of the aforementioned courses. Moreover, I provided differentiated instruction to students with extremely diverse backgrounds and learning styles. Also at Vicksburg High School, I taught Debate, Creative Writing, and Compensatory Reading. Additionally, I coached a competitive co-ed varsity cheerleading squad for five years and served as advisor of the school's literary magazine for three years. One of my most esteemed achievements was attaining a 98% passing rate with student test scores in the Informative Essay portion of the Subject Area Testing Program as mandated by the Federal No Child Left Behind Act.
