I have applied my Master of Public Health degree and my IT skills to support the operational and strategic priorities of the South Western Ontario Cancer Screening Program. Prior to working in this role I worked with the Office of the Chief Public Health Officer. I have experience in managing and coordinating projects that aim to improve public health programming and outcomes, especially in the areas of environmental health, climate change, health and wellness, nutrition, food security, immunizations, and communicable disease control.I worked as a Research Director and a Senior Research Advisor at Info-Tech Research Group, where I delivered research projects and advisory services to clients in the health care industry, covering key IT domains such as privacy and security, business analysis, requirements gathering, and process improvement. I also wrote extensive, practical guidance on how to implement telemedicine solutions during the COVID-19 pandemic, based on forward-thinking research and best practices. I have a strong background in health informatics, health database management and analysis, and information and referral system navigation. I am passionate about using data and technology to enhance health care delivery and access for diverse and underserved populations.
