Initially, I was a journalism major, but a skiing accident when I was 19, followed by four years of physical rehab at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, changed that path to marketing. That experience gave me such an appreciation for science and medicine. It also showed me the powerful influence the innovation of others can have, and how that has the ability to greatly enhance an individual's quality of life. The exchange between people, products, and ideas led me to pursue a degree in Marketing. While at Georgia State, I had the opportunity to intern for Grady Hospital in Atlanta. It gave me the ability to pair my huge appreciation for healthcare professionals with my love of marketing. I designed a messaging strategy to increase participation and fundraising at Grady's Cycling event, VeloCity, by creating a strong fundraising community through team building, with a focus on corporate sponsor support. It was an invaluable experience and ignited a passion for an impactful messaging strategy, meaningful touchpoints, lead generation, and the customer journey.I love connecting with new people!
