As a Resident Assistant I live in a freshman dorm and am a resource for residents as they adjust to college life through individual interactions, planned activities, and lesson plans. I oversee the safety of 30 students on my floor and am available to them through different forms of contact 24/ 7 during the semester. I oversee the safety of the whole building during a 12 hour shift averaging once a week and plan with other Resident Assistants in my building activities that bring the community together once a month.

While working on the IT Finance and PMO team under my manager I have been able to compile metrics and present findings to coworkers on many different aspects including invoice processes and group rates. I have also been able to use my great communication skills to connect and collaborate with my team located in different offices around the world. As an intern I have participated in the annual intern project as a project manager to create a working webpage and encourage participation from full time employees.

As a Summer Teller, I was able to be a part of the banking industry for 3 months as full time employees of the credit union used their vacation time. I displayed excellent customer service to more than 100 of the credit union’s members a day.I helped acquired new memberships and accounts for the branch to help reach monthly goals. My daily jobs were to execute member’s financial needs at the teller line and was assisted by other team members.

At McIntyre Ski School, I had a range of positions. Starting as a ski teacher apprentice and worked my way up each winter to become an Adaptive Ski Teacher. As an Adaptive Ski Teacher, I taught a group of students with cognitive and physical disabilities in a private lesson each week. I prepared a team of students to compete at national level in a range of activities as a Special Olympics coach. In total I taught 6 private lessons a week on top of volunteering with Special Olympics and picking up regular after school ski classes.

As a Visitor Facilitator I was in charge of making sure the musume visitors were safe and was there to answer any questions about the exhibits. I presented demonstrations on gravity, static electricity, and Sir Isaac Newton’s laws of motion to the public and private parties 3 or more times a day. I also managed and entertained large groups of kids age 4-12 at least once a week for birthday parties on the weekends.
