Jennifer McGregor is a curator and arts planner with substantive experience directing, implementing, and managing contemporary art projects and programs. Her broad knowledge of diverse artists and multiple connections has been developed over years of engagement in the public realm. As Principal of McGregor Consulting, she has worked nationally on commissions, exhibitions, and art plans for public and private entities. Recent curatorial and planning projects include Bay Ridge Through an Ecological Lens for Stand4 Gallery, Brooklyn, NY; permanent commissions for Central Armature Works with Trammell Crow in Washington, DC; helping to develop the Nueva Luz Study Center for En Foco, Bronx, NY; Downtown Brooklyn & Dumbo Arts Fund for Downtown Brooklyn Partnership and Dumbo BID, a public art strategy for the Port Division of the Port Authority of NY & NJ among others. As Senior Director of Arts, Education and Programs at Wave Hill in the Bronx, she concentrated on place-based art through exhibitions, residencies, and performances. As the founding Director of New York City’s Percent for Art Program from, she implemented the program guidelines and supervised the initial 60 public art projects.
