I specialize in making complex things simple.Proactive. Creative. Solution focused. Influential and a great relationship builder. My passion for training and development started when I was a kid. I always loved teaching and coaching others, even as a child, which eventually grew into a career in adult learning. I’ve been recognized for three years in a row for my leadership, creativity, resilience and quality of the final product for my work on AOP, an annually held three-day enterprise-wide conference with senior leaders. Each year my responsibilities on the project have increased, with this past year being responsible for all aspects of the HR presentations. I also led the design and development of the re-design of the company-wide compliance course, the business conduct policy. Some significant improvements include chunking the content and adding interaction/gaming elements to the course. Feedback has been very positive. In addition, I designed and developed a series of leadership skill building courses for high-potential internal talent, which are delivered via virtual instructor-led. People say I’m detail-oriented and that I work well with all types of clients/business leaders. I often work on projects that are high profile or require great attention to detail. I frequently use my sense of humor to help defuse stressful or tense situations and refocus the team. A good laugh always helps break the ice and add some levity. When I’m not helping clients plan their training strategy or designing learning solutions, I’m spending time with my family and doing one of my many DIY home projects.
