I’m seeking to expand my knowledge and network in project management and operations management in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical space. I have a variety of skills that help me in this space, including cross-functional collaboration, expertise in rare genetic disorders, clinical laboratory testing, administrative experience, and more.I have used these skills to present at 31 conferences in the areas of newborn screening, genetics, and rare diseases. I have published 17 manuscripts in the Journal of Pediatrics, JAMA Open Network, and the Journal of Molecular Diagnostic. I have also participated in 9 collaborations and managed project details for those related to large-scale newborn screening pilots for rare conditions, implementation of testing in state public health laboratories, and data collection of rare genetic disorders. I have also been a part of 11 federally funded grants and contracts and was the principal investigator of 2 grants.Additionally, I have the following skills and experiences:Cross-functional collaborator with experience developing and implementing methodologies for rare diseases and newborn screening programs, as evidenced by optimizing 4 molecular methods and 3 biochemical methods.Project management expertise with experience managing federally funded projects by developing and monitoring the project plan, budget, and subcontracts as resulting in 4 grants funding in newborn screening research and 4 contracts for clinical laboratory testing.Strong communication skills with an ability to manage and communicate clinical testing methodologies for rare diseases to different stakeholders, as evidenced by the 16 publications, 3 clinical guidelines, and 31 presentations on rare diseases in newborn screening.
