At Jayden Presleigh, I was responsible for running the salon side of the shop and the boutique side. For the salon, I scheduled reservations, greeted guests, answered the phone frequently to help any current/new guests, and communicated frequently with the stylists. For the boutique, I am responsible for greeting guests, making conversation, recovering the boutique if need be, checking in any new shipments of clothing we receive, and helping our customers in the best way possible. I also handled cash; counting the drawers every morning and every night and making the deposits or change for both the salon and boutique. Working at Jayden Presleigh Salon and Boutique taught me how to use professional language and to keep calm in stressful situations. I worked with a diversity of clients and shaped my customer service to fit their individual needs.

Working at Haagen Dazs, I was responsible for making desserts, closing/opening the store, going to storage for essentials that we need, handling large tubs of ice cream, and providing great customer service to our customers. I learned to work in a very fast pace environment and still exceed our customer’s expectations. As an assistant manager, I was responsible for making sure my team was on the right track. This included setting daily tasks or goals for them, and helping them when they are struggling. I made my team feel comfortable in this job environment and they knew they could always come to me for feedback.
