Water Department• Led the civil design for the majority of water department projects• Communicated directly with clients to interpret how to best meet their needs and discuss any potential issues, in order to advocate for the best possible solution• Collaborated with a multidisciplinary team, in order to create a design that cohesively incorporates all aspects of the project• Designed sites to properly handle and convey stormwater in a flood event

Coordinated the travel, transportation, and team organization for 100 civil engineering students to attend the 2018 Pacific Southwest Conference in Tempe, AZ

• Gained experience in design and drafting of utility line paths, foundation drainage, and grading for drainage and stormwater management purposes• Made storm drainage reports for various projects, considering on-site stormwater management, flow control, conveyance, and water quality treatment• Familiar with the design and implementation of Best Management Practices (BMPs) and the Low Impact Development (LID) approach

Led a team of around 30 students with a co-project manager on design, plan, and execution of a mechanical project for implementation and began design process of a borehole project in Kumponda, Malawi.Bicycle Powered Maize Mill Project• Travelled to Kumponda, Malawi and implemented project made with sustainable materials found in country in December 2015 and September 2016• Lead a travel team of 3 students, faculty advisor, and engineer on two separate occasions as well as facilitated community involvement and discussions• Worked with Kumpondan community and Engineers Without Borders Malawi team to continue to improve the designBorehole Development and Pumping System Project• Researched and began design process of implementing a borehole in an area of great need; available to the community members of Kumponda

• Worked onsite at the Apple Campus 2 Sitework construction, which encompassed multiple projects from grading to buildings within the campus• Helped coordinate between engineers, contractors, and others involved through RFIs, submittals, verbal and virtual communication• Managed deadlines of approvals in order to keep on schedule for particular parts of the construction• Took regular trips onsite to check the status of construction and progress, to report back to the respective Project Engineer
