The Village Tavern was my first serving experience in ‘99. For 5 years I trained new hires. I have been blessed to come back years later be considered to help run this awesome restaurant. I’m aiming high to ensure this establishment maintains the core values that makes it the success it is today. I give BBI credit for strengthening my management skills as I started out as a server with BFG and within a year I was Training Coordinator for my store. I was promoted to Key Employee then promoted to Management in 2006. I have been a Senior Manager and now have credit of being the Managing Partner of the store I began at. The food industry takes a certain type of person with the hospitality gene along with a multitasking mentality to be successful. Your people have to be behind you while you carry the weight of the shift. If you don’t have that, you have nothing.
