I was a senior project manager on national aviation and hospitality projects and for the Denver and San Francisco offices. Jennifer served as both Managing Director of the Denver office and a regional leader in Gensler's Aviation + Transportation practice area. During Jennifer's tenure as Managing Director, the office staff count and revenue doubled. As part of Gensler's Aviation + Transportation worldwide practice, she was one of six directors focused on facility planning, design, and security at airports across North America. Jennifer joined the Denver office of Texas-based, Carter & Burgess (CB) to build their architectural and aviation practice. As a vice-president, Jennifer was a “seller-doer” and led the growth of the practice to a total of thirteen professional staff. She was instrumental in securing the office's first major architectural project commission with the Denver International Airport. When CB was acquired and merged into Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in 2007, Jennifer continued as the firm's Terminal Planning & Design Leader for their Global Buildings North America Western division. Jennifer secured and worked on aviation projects throughout the Rocky Mountain Region and California. Her focus has been Denver International Airport where she worked on a variety of projects with all departments. She continued in a role of "seller-doer" with responsibility for securing new project commissions and leading the execution of the work once awarded. Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is one of the world’s largest and most diverse providers of professional technical services with annual revenues exceeding $9 billion.

During her ten year tenure at Corgan, Jennifer filled many roles and responsibilities. She started as a project architect designing and documenting K-12 schools and developer-led corporate office buildings before switching full time to aviation in 2000. As a vice president of Corgan, Jennifer was responsible for mentoring staff, developing business, establishing company standards, and exceeding revenue projections. As a senior aviation project manager, she worked on a full spectrum of airport projects from the high design of public spaces to the nitty-gritty details for ramp operations and back-of-house spaces. After 9/11, Jennifer additionally built an expertise in baggage security projects. Her portfolio with Corgan includes the new Concourse B at San Antonio International Airport (SAT), the Aviation and Transportation Security Act Compliance (ATSAC II) in-line baggage implementation project for Terminal E at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), and five years supervising project execution on DFW's Terminal D. She was involved in all stages of design and construction on Terminal D as part of the leadership management team that oversaw up to 70 architects from Corgan and associate M/WBE consultant firms. Jennifer was awarded the Phil Mein Award for Design Excellence and the Dallas Mayoral award for her personal contributions to the project; Terminal D project was widely published in architecture and aviation journals and local publications.Corgan was founded in Dallas in 1938, and is ranked among the top architectural design firms in the nation. It has a staff of over 300 with seven offices internationally. The firm provides master planning, architecture and interior design services.

During her internship, Jennifer worked on retail and public education projects.
