While I was employed full time as an office manager, I started my own consulting business and continue to serve clients in my spare time. My services include: basic bookkeeping using Sage 50, Sage 100 Contractor or QuickBooks, basic personal income tax return preparation, consulting with new small business owners, setting up accounting systems for new small businesses, business and strategic planning including workshops with owners and staff, Air BnB account set-up and management, funding application writing, desktop publishing. I also perform data recovery, small repairs and upgrades on computers and smartphones as a hobby.

Managed the day-to-day operations of a not-for-profit membership-based regional tourism association under a volunteer board of directors. Developed and implemented a pan-northern strategic plan in partnership with regional tourism associations and various levels of government. Wrote, edited and distributed annual publications and quarterly newsletters. Coordinated federal and provincial summer employment programs for over thirty students on a regional scale (annually). Managed two international toll-free inquiry services. Coordinated and attended consumer shows throughout Northeastern U.S.A. and Ontario on behalf of association and Ministry of Tourism.

Coordinated the Ontario Snowmobile Paradise Program on behalf of the Ministry of Tourism. Fielded and fulfilled international tourism inquiries. Developed and executed marketing initiatives, sales of association memberships and marketing programs for the association. Training of part-time staff including personnel at 1-800-ONTARIO, prepared statistical reports, general office duties.
