Its main task is closely to monitor the political processes and play an active and specific role in political decision-making that is relevant for the banks' business platform. In so doing, the Danish Bankers Association target its efforts and communication at, for example, the Danish Parliament, the government and the EU.As executive director I was responsible for representation of interests in relation to the financial sector's common digital and financial infrastructure, including the management, operation and development of the common payment infrastructure. The financial sector's common infrastructure covers for example settlement of payments and securities, payment solutions, digital banking infrastructure and customer solutions, IT security, etc.

Executive vice president at Sparekassen Lolland A/SSparekassen Lolland A/S was in 2009 among the nation's 25 largest banks with total assets of approximately 10 billion Dkr., total lending of approximately 7 billion Dkr., total equity of approximately 1 billion Dkr. and about 250 employees.As executive vice president I was responsible for 15 branches, 2 investment centres and 2 administrative departments as well as Spar Lolland's; a) total sale and marketing activities,b) pension and investment activities,c) treasury and liquidity management,d) FX & money market ande) the mortgage lending to private households. This involved the direct leadership of 15 branch managers, 2 investment managers and 2 administrative managers. Overall, I was responsible for approximately 120 employees.
