Jeremy Smith is the founder and CEO of Health Connect Life Sciences, an international distribution company with focus on unique products and services for the orthopaedic, spinal, podiatric, and neurosurgical sectors. In addition to his executive role at HCLS, Mr. Smith is also the president of Smith Marketing and Specialty Services Corp, in which he pulls from his experience to help refine marketing strategies and operations, develop partnerships in the surgical community, and secure key customers.Mr. Smith began his career in the medical device space with Surgical Devices Inc, where he was responsible for developing the sales channel for automated and robotic technologies in the total joint replacement space. Following Surgical Devices Inc, Mr. Smith moved into roles of increasing responsibility with Zimmer-Biomet, Arthrex, and Flower Orthopedics, where he was brought in as a sales consultant and distributor, responsible for the strategic planning, business development, and sales of a multi million $ product portfolio in the orthopedic space.In addition to his listed duties, Mr. Smith serves on the board of various companies and foundations and is a founding member of multiple start-up companies in the orthopaedic space and has played a key role in the development, commercialization, and divestment of products with high revenues.
