• Responsible for overseeing all aspects of multistate benefits administration including maintaining all records and information for company sponsored benefit plans for a growth-oriented company with currently over 1,300.
• Managing the eligibility process for all new hires as well as annual open enrollment and qualifying events for existing employees.
• For the purpose of systems data accuracy and integrity, internally auditing all detailed file upload reports sent from vendors and reconciling with internal roster reports.
• Collaborating with the Accounting Department to ensure all employee premiums are current and accrued to the correct branch/location.
• Participate in benefit plan design including eligibility guidelines, summary plan descriptions, employee rates, copayments and level of coverage.
• Ensure company is compliant with all state and federal laws

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

Eau Claire, Wisconsin Area

• Responsible for recruiting and hiring all employees.
• Ensuring all onboarding paperwork is completed correctly and timely (I-9, W-4, etc.).
• Entering all new hires in Aloha POS as well as online through our payroll provider.
• Completing all payroll reports on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring all clock in and timecards are accurate and meeting bi-weekly deadlines for processing payroll.
• Communicating benefits eligibility to all employees and ensuring eligible employees understand the benefits package and enrollment deadlines.
• Responsible for completing all audit requests from our insurance carriers (workers’ compensation, unemployment insurance) as well as any audit requests from the State of Wisconsin.

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

• Responsible for overseeing all aspects of multistate benefits administration including maintaining all records and information for two separate company sponsored benefit plans for over 35,000 employees.
• Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Canadian benefits administration for over 900 employees.
• Managing the eligibility process for all new hires as well as annual open enrollment and qualifying events for existing employees.
• Auditing all detailed file upload reports sent from vendors reconciling with internal roster reports.
• Participate in benefit plan design including eligibility guidelines, summary plan descriptions, copayments and level of coverage.
• Acting as first point of contact for all employees as it relates to benefits.

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

• Responsible for overseeing all aspects of multistate benefits administration, workers’ compensation and FMLA/ADA leave requirements including maintaining all records and information for three separate company sponsored.
• Managing the eligibility process for all new hires as well as annual open enrollment and qualifying events for existing employees.
• Auditing all detailed billing reports sent from vendors and reconciling with internal roster reports.
• Participate in benefit plan design including summary plan descriptions, co-payments and level of coverage.
• Managing the triage process ensuring timely reporting of all workers’ compensation and general liability incidents.
• Minimizing workers’ compensation exposure by aggressively managing claims and ensuring timely return to work.
