Since finishing graduate school, I’ve been very fortunate to apply my design knowledge to real world projects through my transition from intern to full time employee at Shive-Hattery. My number one priority is to continue to expand my knowledge and become a well-rounded individual who can understand the different aspects of architecture and the ideas that transform into memorable spaces. Architecture shapes our daily life. Designers should consider the design process as viewing life through an architectural lens. Analyzing today’s culture to formulate and bring these ideas into fruition, ultimately becoming the buildings of tomorrow. Resilient buildings facilitate the growth of communities and allow people to celebrate the special moments that mark their lives in healthy, well-designed spaces and work environments. Aside from my professional career, I’m continuing to develop myself as an Entrepreneur / Designer who focuses on the intersection of various creative disciplines and understanding the architecture behind human interaction and design. My current goal is using architectural design and sound to create temporary environments to market and enhance the experience that consumers have when interacting with my personal clothing brand and graphic design / artwork.
