Student Researcher / Analyst
Current- Contributing to the development of strategic policy and position papers, briefing notes, presentations, Ministerial and executive correspondence, Treasury Board submissions and strategies, as well as plans and policy options to transform procurement in CSC, such as greening strategies and indigenous participation.- Assisting in the planning, coordination and management of ministerial/public events and project activities. This involves identifying opportunities for events, assisting in preparing required communications materials, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.- Contributing to the development of CSC related communications materials, such as news releases, social media campaigns, question and answer documents, and more.- Supporting intra / interdepartmental files and working groups with other departments, and other stakeholders to collaborate in finding solutions to CSC related issues.- Researching and analyzing social and economic information, data, trends studies, policies, plans, and other program information.- Reporting on trends that are driven by socio-economic conditions, and impacted by procurement activities, particularly concerning shipbuilding.
