-Led 15 personnel in the support of the LAN/CAN architecture, Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange services, VM/SAN system, and help desk supporting upwards of 1,500 users aboard Camp Dwyer, Afghanistan-Engineered time-critical upgrades to the network architecture to take advantage of existing, underutilized technologies and the provision of real world services to warfighting units downrange-Planned all network changes to include upgrades, updates, and planned outages, for the LAN/CAN architecture, Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange services, and VM/SAN system about Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, with a 100% success rate and 0 downtime outside of planned windows-Manged help desk supporting senior level staff, rewriting and implementing updated standard operating procedures and ultimately overseeing the resolution of over 5,000 trouble tickets-Reconciled inventory of over 1,500 classified hard drives, discovering over 200 previously unaccounted for hard drives and administering the proper destruction of over 600 hard drives on a compressed timeline, leading to a 100% accountability-Generated updated standard operating procedure for classified hard drive accountability and destruction, correcting shortfalls in the documentation and creating a secure process for controlling, documenting, and accounting for classified materials-Hand selected to provide IT training and professional training to both personnel and leadership-Performed improv comedy with Comedy Under Construction in San Diego, CA. This was just for fun but indicates I am comfortable speaking in front of crowds and can think on my feet.
