Mr. Epstein is a Senior Trial Attorney with the Natural Resources Defense Council. He focuses on enforcement litigation, including fighting to remediate toxic pollution in rivers and ensure safe drinking water for vulnerable populations. Prior to joining NRDC, Mr. Epstein was the co-chair of the Complex Commercial Litigation group at an international law firm, where he represented global companies and nonprofit organizations in disputes before federal and state courts, Congress, and arbitration tribunals. Earlier in his career Mr. Epstein represented the United States and federal agencies as a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice. He clerked for the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
