I graduated from UC Davis and have a B.S. in Animal Science with double specializations in Equine and Companion Animal. While there, I was a foal manager at the UCD horse barn in addition to being a volunteer at the VMTH Equine NICU & completed various equine externships. After graduating I felt the need to grow my small animal knowledge base & became a small animal technician for several years. Now I am pursuing my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine and will be graduating in May 2023. Currently I am interested in becoming an equine surgeon, however many personal family matters have made staying in Southern California a top priority for the moment. In the mean time I am open to the possibilities of mixed animal practice or equine internship. In my spare time I enjoy volunteering at the Los Angeles Downtown Dog Rescue & for the AAEP DEI committee. I hope to incorporate as much time as I can giving back to my community whenever I can!
