With over 7 years of experience in education, I am passionate about providing effective and engaging instruction, coaching, and counseling to students and teachers. As an instructional coach at La Causa, I demonstrate and provide research-based instructional strategies that align with the curriculum objectives and the students' needs. I also observe and evaluate teachers' lessons, and offer feedback and suggestions for improvement. My mission is to empower teachers to create positive and inclusive learning environments that foster student growth and achievement.In addition to my coaching role, I also leverage my skills in data and behavior analysis to design and implement RTI student intervention and behavior plans. I analyze student data to identify areas of strength and weakness, and create personalized plans with benchmarks and reinforcements. I also collaborate with school leaders and other staff to ensure the plans are executed and monitored effectively. Furthermore, am working towards obtaining a master's degree in professional counseling. In tandem with instructional coaching, I provide social emotional services to students who need additional support. I use my knowledge of youth mental health and nonviolent crisis intervention to help students cope with their challenges and strengthen their social and emotional skills.
