Connecting local businesses with training providers on any topic. Also, managing a State fund to partially pay the costs of those trainings for local business. This is a specialized facet of my greater responsibilities as a business advisor and coach in the Tooele County Business Resource Center (BRC).

The SBDC supports business development needs throughout the Tooele Region for businesses in all stages from Startup to established enterprises. We offer counseling / consulting, financial assistance, training and referral to other specialized programs and services from Federal, state and local sources. The SBDC is sponsored by the Small Business Administration (SBA) and it’s host institution - Tooele Technical College.

Part of the nation’s largest network of volunteer, expert business mentors, with more than 10,000 volunteers in 300 chapters. As a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), I have personally helped more than 124 entrepreneurs and small business owners through mentoring, workshops and educational resources, in the Tooele region as a function of our SBDC.
