Working to advance pediatric asthma and allergy research by creating meaningful relationships with families and developing effective methods to improve patient health care experiences. In addition to collaborating on multiple NIH-funded clinical studies, our immunology team is focused on preventative measures and early intervention with regards to asthma management and risk reduction.Balancing cross functional work with research study stakeholders to drive recruitment efforts while incorporating EDI principles for more comprehensive data. Curating social media advertisement to increase recruitment traffic by 112% within 3 months, providing recruitment consulting to other pediatric research sites, and identifying participant pain points to secure over $78,000 in funding and drive protocol revisions aimed to improve relations between researchers and the participant community. Successfully secured over $10,000 in additional grant funding for compliance-based/incentivized bonuses, travel reimbursement to improve clinical research appeal and accessibility to underserved, underrepresented families. Utilizing strong interpersonal skills to recruit and retain long-lasting patient relationships to facilitate monthly remote and in-person visits and encourage study compliance and participation with 140+ study participants across four immunology studies.
