I'm passionate about solving complex problems through the application of acoustics, modeling, and simulation. With a strong track record of driving innovation and impactful projects, I bring a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to excellence.In my current role, I lead initiatives that span the spectrum of acoustic engineering, from implementing advanced simulation tools, to learning about new and related fields such as blast waves for weapon safety. I'm proud to have contributed to the development of innovative technologies that enhance our capabilities in communications and sensing.My experience extends to developing in-house tools for radar models and conducting analysis of alternatives for underwater platforms and vehicles. I also serve as an Intern Coordinator, where I've streamlined the intern program and provided opportunities for emerging talent.Prior to my work, I made significant contributions during my time as a Research Assistant at the University of Rhode Island, where I conceptualized and built a radar array for bird migration tracking. My internship experiences at Applied Physical Sciences and FarSounder deepened my expertise in acoustics and software development.With a Master of Science in Ocean Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Engineering and Spanish, I have a strong academic foundation in acoustics and signal processing.
