As a Genius I provide hardware and software technical support for all of Apple’s products as well as repair the customer’s relationship with their machines. I also find solutions for customers that have perfectly working machines ranging from security and backup, to application recommendations. I have to maintain a tight schedule and take anywhere from 12 to 30 appointments in a day, complete all proper paperwork and ticketing information, and stay current with issues and threats as they emerge.

As a Family Room Specialist I focused on repairing the customer's relationship with their mobile devices, resolving issues and providing technical support for iPads, iPhones, and iPods. I also helped insure that customers' first impressions of their new Macs were the best they could be by migrating data from a customer's previous system to their new Mac and installing supported software.

I would find the best computer or mobile device to fit the customers' needs. To do this I would position how I could help them so that I could get their permission to ask some questions involving how they currently use their technology. I would create a relationship with the customer and translate the abstract ideas of how the customers use their machine into the best possible solution for them.

Managed a team of three student technicians. The Community Technology Enhancement Program (CTEP) is a not for profit program that refurbishes donated computers for community members that would otherwise not be able to afford a computer. Community Outreach Presenter - Teach at a local middle school basic computer skills, (Word, PowerPoint, MSPaint, basic hardware knowledge, etc).
