I earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse with an English literature major and a psychology minor. During my time there I became involved with Habitat for Humanity where I was a part of the leadership committee as a fundraising executive and then president of the UW- La Crosse chapter.While attending school, I held positions at Portrait Puzzles and Old Navy where I developed my time management and customer service skills. After graduating I accepted a position with Partners In Excellence, an early intervention therapy center for children with autism in La Crosse, WI. I worked closely with colleagues to provide ABA therapy in areas such as daily living skills, increasing meaningful vocals, and social interaction. My husband and I then had an opportunity to move to Phoenix, AZ where I worked for STARS a non-profit organization providing an array of social, community, and work opportunities for teens and adults with special needs. While there I was a job coach providing adults with tools needed to be successful in the workplace and a day program instructor where I facilitated activities that helped create meaningful days for clients.I now reside in Neenah, WI with my husband and dog Griffey.
