I am a consultant in KPMG Australia’s ESG Audit and Assurance division, working within the ESG Social team (formerly Safeguarding Risk Advisory, Banarra and Workplace, Health and Safety teams). I work with clients to identify, understand and address safeguarding challenges to ensure vulnerable populations within Australia are protected. I have gained experience in policy development and review, risk and compliance auditing as well as stakeholder management including communicating with those directly impacted by social and governance concerns. I have spent substantial time on client sites, working directly with both clients and stakeholders to ensure I have a deep understanding of each specific safeguarding challenge as well as applying appropriate risk management principles. This includes investigating and advising on incident management and compliance in line with legislative requirements and regulations.I am a member of the firm’s ESG social committee as a representative from the ESG Social to put together events that promote team building and connection outside of work.I have a Bachelor in Global Studies with a specialisation in International Relations from Monash University. I am passionate about helping people and promoting social equality in a way that it effective and sustainable. Through my studies, I spent time in both India and the UK to further my understanding of international affairs as well as environmental sustainability. I applied this knowledge within my internship undertaken in my final year which focused on sustainable waste management solutions, with a focus on how these solutions specifically impact women and girls.
