As part of my doctoral preparation, I have excelled in coursework related to statistics, data analysis, and research methods. I have learned how to use a variety of statistical software packages to analyze data sets that encompass both small and vast amounts of information. In addition, I have a great deal of experience in writing reports aimed at disaggregating data and presenting trends.With over eight years of classroom teaching experience, I have a great deal of experience in analyzing student data, not only to glean a thorough understanding of students' past achievements, but also to develop creative plans to help students progress along their learning trajectory. My teaching experience has also afforded me the opportunity to collaborate with others, facilitate group activities, and set hierarchical goals. Through my experience as a Research Associate at the William and Ida Friday Institute for Educational Innovation, I gained valuable experience in working with substantial databases in various capacities including initial set-up and maintenance. In this position, I also worked on disaggregating large amounts of data, contributed to numerous technical reports, and presented evaluation results at regional and national conferences.I would love to use my knowledge and skills as a data analyst to provide management with accurate and valuable information for decision making purposes.
