I represent public companies and financial institutions and their officers and directors in connection with government investigations and in complex class action litigation in state and federal courts. I also serve in WilmerHale's Office of the General Counsel, advising the firm on its own matters. I maintain a robust pro bono practice, focusing on asylum matters. I have also successfully represented clients in sealing criminal records, resolving outstanding warrants, obtaining public benefits, and appealing the denial of such benefits. I manage the firm's biannual legal clinics run in conjunction with The Lawyers Clearinghouse, a nonprofit organization connecting individuals and nonprofit organizations with pro bono legal advice.

Explored creative ways to design, implement, and evaluate pilot projects proposed by the Boston Bar Association’s Task Force on Expanding the Civil Right to Counsel in order to demonstrate effectiveness of counsel in cases where basic needs are at stake. Provided research on specific substantive areas, e.g., child custody, civil contempt, tenant evictions. Assisted in editing final report to be submitted to the BBA.
