Created a proposal, worked with key admin to formulate a timeline and benchmarks for success, interviewed/trained volunteer docents, and developed scripted notecards through existing documentation as well as individual research of the building's history.• Manage Tours and Group Visits for Main Library, including scheduling, correspondence, staff training and webpage promotion.• 2017-2018: Received a $6,000 Innovation Grant from Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh to purchase and implement a photo booth at Main Library that would welcome visitors, provide them with a keepsake image, all while helping to tell the Library's story through imagery and written testimonials. • 2017: Co-led Alternative Homecoming, a system-wide dance event for high-school age youth in Pittsburgh and Allegheny County who attend magnet, charter, and cyber schools whose schools do not offer a homecoming experience; who are homeschooled; who identify on the LGBTQ+ spectrum; who experience bullying or other discomfort in the school setting; or who are looking for a creative and fun spin on the traditional school dance experience.• 2015-2017: Led Battle of the Books system-wide program for grades 6-12 that garnered over 230 participants for a total of 7 events that took place at 3 library locations in my final year facilitating.• Provide resources and mentoring targeted to youth ages 11-19 through book recommendations, connected learning, digital resources, and tailored programming through the Library's Teenspace.
